THE NSW OPEN 2026

PSA CHALLENGER 6 NSW OPEN VENUE
Tue 3 - Sat 7 Nov 2026 Fri 6 - Sun 8 Nov 2026 Thornleigh Squash & Fitness

Event Overview

The NSW Open is Squash NSW's major adult championship, bringing together the state's best open, masters and junior players for a weekend of high-quality competition, played Friday 6 - Sunday 8 November. As done previously, it runs alongside the PSA Challenger 6, a professional men and women's tournament played Tuesday 3 - Saturday 7 November, with both events sharing the courts at Thornleigh Squash & Fitness

The NSW Open has shared a week with a PSA 4event before, but his year marks the first time in a long while that we've combined the Gala Dinner - one night celebrating both the PSA Challenger 6 champions and the Squash NSW award winners. Local and visiting players still get to watch touring professional up close and be part of a bigger week of squash.

PSA Challenger 6 - Men's and Women's

Running Tuesday 3 - Saturday 7 November, the PSA Challenger 6 brings professional men's and women's squash to Thornleigh - three days ahead of the NSW Open itself. Watch touring pros compete for ranking points and prize money on the same courts the NSW Open will use that weekend.

The PSA will be livestreamed by SquashTV during the NSW Open. For all our members with a Local or Compete membership, you can use your membership perk of free access to SquashTV to view these matches at any time, otherwise, they will be streamed on YouTube. We will share the links as the event gets closer.

The PSA week closes with a shared Gala Dinner on Saturday night - the offical presentation for the PSA Challenger 6, combined with the Squash NSW awards night - right as the NSW Open weekend gets underway. One night, two celebrations - all welcome.
